Alongside science and clinical expertise, we believe care must also honor the human spirit.
We seek to serve not only the needs of the body, but the deeper needs of meaning, hope, and dignity. This is not a rejection of science, but an affirmation that medicine is at its best when knowledge and humanity work together.
Whether you are part of our team, a facility partner, a patient or family member, or simply someone passing through, you are welcome to share a prayer intention. If there is something on your heart – peace, comfort, strength, healing, gratitude, or guidance – we would be honored to pray for you, regardless of faith tradition, spirituality, or background.
Please share your intention in broad, non-identifying terms, focusing on the essence of the request rather than specific medical or personal details. To protect privacy, do not include names dates of birth, facility names, addresses, or any information that could reasonably identify an individual.
The Moscati Medical Group Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Divine Physician and healer of all souls and bodies,
We place before You the mission of Moscati Medical Group.
Guide our physicians, providers, nurses, and staff,
that we may serve with wisdom, humility, and compassion
in the spirit of our model, Saint Giuseppe Moscati.
Grant our providers clarity of mind,
steadiness of hand,
and compassion of heart.
Protect them from discouragement and fatigue,
and renew those who are weary or burned out in the service of healing.
Bless our leadership and all who guide this mission,
that they may lead with integrity, courage, and stewardship,
always seeking what is right rather than what is easy.
Lord, we pray for every patient entrusted to our care –
those we know today and those we will encounter in the future.
Help us to see in each person not merely an illness to treat,
but a life of dignity and worth.
Comfort those who suffer in body, mind, or spirit.
Bring peace to the dying and strength to their families
who walk beside them with love and sacrifice.
Bless our partner facilities, our collaborators,
and all who work alongside us in the care of the vulnerable.
Unite us in humility, respect, and shared purpose.
We pray for the renewal of medicine itself –
that hearts may be converted,
that the patient may once again be placed before profit,
that compassion may return to the center of care,
and that medicine may again be practiced as a vocation of service.
Grant us the courage to practice medicine with truth and integrity,
remembering the words of Saint Giuseppe Moscati:
“Love the truth, appear as you are, and without affectation and without fear and without human respect.
Even if the truth costs you persecution, accept it; and if it means anguish, endure it.
And if for the sake of truth you should have to sacrifice yourself and your life, then be strong in your sacrifice.”
Give us the strength to live these words in our daily work –
to defend the dignity of our patients,
to speak honestly,
to act justly,
and to serve faithfully, even when it is difficult.
May knowledge and compassion never be separated in our care,
so that science may serve humanity
and medicine may remain a vocation of love.
May our work bring healing to the suffering,
comfort to the weary,
and dignity to those entrusted to us.
Amen.
